Top Step – Adjustable Rise-n-Run
Step-Link Step 3 Top Step. Step-Link is our modular staircase system that is adjustable to fit most staircases. This innovative system allows you to customize your own staircase with little to no carpentry skills. Add a modern show stopping staircase design to your new or renovated home. Simply select the number of steps required, assemble each step with a few bolts and begin attaching them together. Once you have your staircase assembled simply lift and fasten it to the top step support bracket. Add any stair treads you like. Powder coated which allows for indoor and outdoor use. Each staircase will require 1 Bottom Step (Step 1), 1 Top Step (Step 3), and on most standard staircase 12 Middle Steps (Step 2). The number of Middle Steps required will vary depending on your project. Each step includes full assembly and installation instructions. Meets the requirements in the most recent 2015 National Building Code (Canada). Also meets the requirements in the International Building Code. The rise is adjustable from 7.5 inches to 8.5 inches. The run is adjustable from 8.25 inches to 9.74 inches. To calculate the number of steps required simply take your elevation in inches and divide by 7, and subtract 1 step. Always round to the nearest step.
